Gemini is replacing Google AssistantGemini is replacing Google Assistant

Gemini is replacing Google Assistant. Google recently released the Gemini Android app. The app, which is available only among users in a limited area, has given an option to make ‘Gemini’ the default AI helper and not ‘Google Assistant’.

Gemini is Google’s latest artificial intelligence system. Google Assistant is a Google system that helps control mobile phones with the help of voice.

With the rise of Gemini, it is understood that Google is preparing to replace Assistant. It is said that the company is trying to change the name, especially to make the assistant standard and include suitable new features in it.

However, the company has not given any official statements about Assistant and Gemini. If you already have the Google Assistant app installed, you may see it named Gemini when you update it.

In the case of downloading both apps, it can be seen that the logo and icon of the Gemini app and Google Assistant are the same in the app list of the phone. When you open the Gemini app, a pop-up bar of ‘How can I help you?’ appears without opening the app. You can tell that it is an assistant. If you open the assistant app for the first time, you can see that Gemini is also included in it.

The regular version of Gemini can be used for free, while the premium version can be used by paying $19.99 per month. On the other hand, you have to pay $20 per month for OpenAI’s ChatGPT Plus, a strong competitor.
