Apple Launched its Own Sports App: With Scores and Betting Apple has released a new app called Apple Sports for the iPhone. The company has introduced this app as a ‘one-stop’ solution for its users to check scores, team stats, betting odds, and cover major sports leagues.
Bundesliga, LaLiga, Liga MX, League One, and Syria A are also placed in the app. It is mentioned that other services will be added in the coming days. Apple said that the upcoming seasons of the MLB, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA will also be available in the app.
It is believed that this app was released as part of Apple’s effort to get involved in live sports. Last year, the company launched a soccer streaming service called MLS Season Pass. It has also been broadcasting Friday night baseball since 2022.
The app directly connects to sports streaming services so that users can go directly to Apple TV Plus or any other streaming service that supports them to watch the game live.
Apple has said that this app itself does not support betting, and if the user wants to, he can turn off the possibility of betting.
