Telecom’s fiber internet reached East Rukum. Nepal Telecom is going to provide NT fiber service through FTTH (Fiber to the Home) technology in Rukumkot, the headquarters of Rukum East. On Sunday, the company started the test service at that location.
Now, after the final technical test, the service will be started for the customers soon, the company said. For this, a network of 1024 lines has been prepared in Rukumkot through two FDCs (Fiber Distribution Cabinets).
Now, high-speed data, voice, and IPTV services will be available in Rukumkot through NT Fiber. According to the company, around 200 customers in Rukumkot will be transferred to FTTH technology, and quality services will be provided to more customers.
Telecom said that there is a plan to gradually expand the service in those districts as well. Through FTTH technology, triple play, i.e., voice, high-speed internet, and IPTV service, can be provided by bringing optical fiber to the house instead of traditional copper wire.
Due to this, this service is very effective and useful for customers. The company has branded this service as ‘NT Fiber’.
Nepal Telecom is also providing various packages for individual and corporate customers under NT Fiber.
Nt fiber will be installed throughout Nepal, and everyone will be able to use internet service in their own homes.
