Siddhartha Highway And Tansen-Tamghas Road Blocked due to landslides that came with incessant rain. According to the police, the landslide occurred near Kalimati, Churchre, Bertungu, and Ramdi on the Palpa-Butwal section of Siddharth Highway.
Similarly, the information officer of the District Police Office Palpa, Sugandh Shrestha, informed that the road was blocked due to landslides in the Argali and Jorte area of the Tansen-Tamghas road section.
Both roads have been blocked since Saturday morning due to landslides. As the road is blocked, vehicles and passengers traveling to the mountains and plains are stopped on the way.
The police said that they were trying to open the road. However, because of the rain, there is a problem in removing the landslide.
Roads in Kalimati, Churchre, and Ramdi areas have been opened one-way. According to the police, it will take some time to remove landslides from other places. Due to the blocking of the roads, it has become very difficult for the travelers, and the local people know what to do with the travelers.
