Now Nepali Characters Can Be Placed On The iPhone’s Lock Screen Now Devanagari script (including Nepali) can be seen on the iPhone lock screen. In the new version of iOS released by the company, Devanagari has also been included, along with the feature of supporting various languages on the lock screen.
With the new update, 12 different languages are included in the lock screen. Most of them are languages used in India. On the lock screen of the iPhone that will get the iOS 18 update, Devanagari, Arabic, Arabic Indic, Bangla, Gujarati, Garmukhi, Kannada, Malayalam, Meitei, Odia, I Chiki, and Telugu languages can be placed.
With the new update, the company has also added support for different languages on the keyboard. Now, when typing on an iPhone, scripts in other languages will also appear as suggestions above. That is, if you type something in Roman, the words will appear as suggestions in the Devanagari script as well. For this, the user does not have to switch the keyboard.
Similarly, if you have spoken in different languages in a messaging app, the keyboard will remember the last language you spoke in. And it suggests the last language you used for that thread.
Apple is preparing to make iOS 18 available to all users in September. Currently, only its beta version has been released.
