Satellite SOS is Now Available on Android Phones Too The Satellite SOS feature is also coming to Android phones. Google is going to provide such a facility through the Android 15 operating system, which will be released in the next few months.
According to the Android Authority, such a feature has been found in the beta version of Android 15. This feature, which is available in Pixel phones, is expected to come in other Android phones as well.
This feature allows users to contact emergency help in areas without cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity.
Through this feature found in the ‘Safety and Emergency Settings’ of the phone, the user can call or text in an emergency, share the location from Google Maps, and provide other necessary information.
Google has not yet given any official information about this feature. On the other hand, Apple already brought such a feature to the iPhone 14 series last year.
