Democracy Day Nepal in 2080 is being Celebrated Today with various programs across the country. On the occasion of the day, a special ceremony has been organized at Sainik Manch Tundikhel.
The ceremony will be attended by the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Speaker, People’s Representatives, National Service employees, security personnel, officials of public and community organizations and educational and academic institutions, eminent personalities of civil society, etc.
A program has also been decided to show ‘National Democracy Day, 2080’ from an army helicopter around the Vynar roundabout and to shower flowers and display flags from a helicopter at the Nepali Sainik Manch, Tudikhel.
The National Democracy Day 2080 Main Ceremony Committee meeting, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, decided to celebrate the day grandly for three days on Falgun 6, 7, and 8. The meeting also called for home-to-house Diwali celebrations and the hoisting of the national flag.
A committee has been formed under the coordination of the head of the District Coordinating Committee to organize the National Democracy Day program. In addition, programs such as cleanliness, morning processions, sports, discourses and literary seminars, cultural programs, and various tableau exhibitions have been organized.
On this occasion, the government has declared a public holiday today. Democracy Day is celebrated in Nepal on the 7th day of Falgun 2080. Many things happened on this day, and many things are still remembered. In Nepal, this day is also considered Democracy Day.
