Apple is introducing an AI version of Siri with the help of ChatGPT. Apple has indicated that it will release the AI version of the voice assistant Siri in the coming month of June. Apple has indicated that such a feature will be introduced in iOS 17.4.
So far, Apple has not released Siri as smart as ChatGPT. But Apple has invested nearly one billion dollars to integrate AI into Siri.
According to NineTwoFive Mac, Apple is working on a new version of Siri with the help of ChGPT. Which was discovered in the beta version of iOS 17.4. At the same time, NinetwoFive Mac has mentioned that there is an indication that the code of OpenAI has been used to make the new version of Siri smarter.
Similarly, instead of using Siri’s AI feature, Apple is said to be using ChatGPT to compare it with its Large Language Model (LLM). It is said that Apple is currently testing at least four different AI models. Out of which there are two versions of their in-house LLM, Ajax GPT (AjaxGPT), on and off devices, and FLAN-T5 (FLAN-T5).
In early January, there were rumors that Apple would integrate AI into other services, including Siri. According to this, Apple is expected to announce AI-integrated Siri at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference.
Now, if the feature update of ChatGPT comes on the iPhone, it will still be interesting, but ChatGPT is shaking the whole country lately. Now what is this? This will be the last update of January, and they are doing a lot of work on it. If it comes to features, it seems like a challenge to compete with Samsung, but what if this feature update goes well? We have to see which of the iPhone customers and Samsung customers have more competition.
