The free voice chat feature is now available on ChatGPT OpenAI has brought a new update to ChatGPT, less than a week after the removal of Sam Altman from the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Before this, voice chat, which was only available for premium users, was made available for free for all users.
In the said video, the user can be heard asking a question and ChatGPT giving the answer. However, some have said that the question asked in the demo video is a satire of the recent events in OpenAI. However, this feature can only be used in ChatGPT’s mobile app.
However since there is no voice chat in the web version, this feature is not available so far. Then the headphone symbol appears on the right side near the prompt box. When you click on that icon for the first time, all the details about the feature will appear. Like: Voice type can be selected. After that, you can chat via ChatGPT by voice.
