Raju Master Returns To ‘Meri Bassai’, To Write And Direct Comedian Raju Poudel (Raju Master) is set to write and direct the popular TV series ‘Meri Bassai’.
He is returning with a new responsibility to the series, which is set to complete a two-decade journey.
Raju has taken on the responsibility of writing and directing ‘Meri Bassai’, which will be aired from next week. He will also act in it.
Produced by Media Hub, this series is now in its 19th year of airing. Raju started his career with this series.
He acted continuously for 12 years from the beginning and worked in other series for 6 years in between. He said that he was happy and felt a sense of responsibility to return home.
He said that he has returned with the responsibility of writing and directing and feels challenged. He was recently working on the serial ‘Sakas’ with his own writing, directing, acting and production. ‘Sakas’ will also get a continuation.
Raju will take over the responsibility from the 923rd episode of ‘Meri Bassai’. According to him, the serial will move forward with a new story.
Along with Raju, Anita Basnet plays the role of Masterni, and Sabina Acharya (Sabu) plays the role of Sister-in-law. Ramchandra Adhikari (Kazi Ba), Surbir Pandit (Dahri Ba), Palpasa Dangol (Chamsuri), Niru Khadka (Nirmali), Dipendra Timalsina (Balak), Saya Bhandari (Radhika), Mukesh Hamal (Sundare), Yadav Thapa (Byaaz Prasad) and other actors will be acting.
‘Meri Bassai’ has been airing every Tuesday evening on Nepal Television and Media Hub’s YouTube channel.
