First public iOS 26 beta will land on or around July 23 · That would be later in the year than usual. The full iOS 26 release is expected around mid-September 2025, likely September 16, alongside the iPhone 17.
This new version will only be released after the new iPhone 17 is released, so be sure to update accordingly. This public beta and there are ongoing updates, and while searching through various media outlets, I have only found this out.
