The Washington Post Will Now Use ChatGPT To Summarize Its News Stories. The Washington Post is now using Chatgpt to generate summaries for its articles. Openai has already partnered with more than 20 other news publishers.
The Washington Post and Openai have announced a strategic partnership that will make high-quality news more easily available through Chatgpt.
Openai has also partnered with several news publishers, including News Corp., Business Insider’s parent company, The Associated Press, Axel Springer, Condé Nast, The Financial Times, Future, and Hearst. Vox Media, the parent company of The Verge, has also partnered with Openai.
As part of the partnership, Chatgpt will display summaries, quotes, and links to original reporting from The Washington Post in response to relevant questions.
The Washington Post said, “Chatgpt will highlight The Washington Post’s journalism on politics, world affairs, business, technology, and more, with clear identification and direct links to full articles, so people can understand the content in depth and detail.”
