WhatsApp’s Chat Screen Is Changing, ‘Liquid Glass’ Design Is Coming WhatsApp is set to introduce a ‘Liquid Glass’ design to its main chat screen. The company is set to incorporate the design style that has been trending in the technology sector recently into its platform.
Along with this, WhatsApp’s parent company Meta is also preparing to add the same new modified design to the interface within the chat. WhatsApp had started testing it in some parts of the app’s bottom navigation bar and chat tab since last year.
WhatsApp information platform ‘WABetaInfo’ had published a report in early October that this new design was starting to be available to some users. However, its expansion in the official app has been much slower than expected, and most users have not yet been able to get this new interface.
Earlier this year, the voice message player was updated with this new look, and now work is underway to bring this design to the entire ‘in-chat’ screen, according to WABetaInfo.
But WABetaInfo has activated and leaked this new interface hidden within the app’s code.
While this feature is currently limited to the app’s code, there is no specific time frame for when it will be officially released.
