Truecaller Will Immediately Block Spam Calls On iPhone Truecaller’s iOS app has received a new update. According to the update, the Truecaller app will automatically block unknown or spam calls. Now you can see who is calling in real-time. Truecaller users can use a new iOS 18 feature called ‘Live Caller ID Lookup’.
This API is said to use state-of-the-art homomorphic encryption. Truecaller claims to be the first company to use it on a large scale for caller ID. The app can also identify previously received calls in the recent calls list on the iPhone, which is said to be up to 2000 previous calls.
With this update, the iOS and Android versions of Truecaller are now the same. Android has always allowed third-party apps full access to call functionality. This means that apps like Truecaller can always automatically identify unknown callers.
Apple has loosened its controls in recent years with the introduction of new APIs. This allows apps like Truecaller to access user information securely.
