Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Passed Away Former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh passed away. Singh, who held the post of Prime Minister of India from 2004 to 2014, was 92 years old.
Singh, who is also a veteran Congress leader, died on Thursday night during treatment at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi.
The hospital issued a medical bulletin a while ago and confirmed that Singh died at 9:51 pm.
It is said in the medical bulletin, “It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the death of the former Prime Minister of India, Dr. We inform you that Manmohan Singh passed away at the age of 92 years. He was being treated for an age-related health condition and suddenly collapsed at home on Thursday. He was brought to the medical emergency at AIIMS in New Delhi at 8:06 PM and was declared dead despite all efforts at 9:51 PM.
Singh is credited with strong economic transformation by laying a strong foundation for the development of the Indian economy.
