Elon Musk Ha Sue For Fourth Time In Legal Battle To Stop OpenAI Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has filed a fourth lawsuit against ChatGPT maker OpenAI. Musk’s lawyers recently filed a lawsuit to prevent OpenAI from going for-profit in a California court.
In the lawsuit, Musk accuses OpenAI of engaging in activities violating US competition (antitrust law). This, it is said, has discouraged investors from investing in competing AI companies such as xAI.
This time, OpenAI’s Sam Altman, Greg Brockman, former OpenAI board member and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman have been named as defendants in the case. OpenAI, on the other hand, has said that Musk’s case is baseless and unfounded.
Musk, who was with him when he founded it, had been separated from OpenAI since 2018. But recently, Musk has been denying Altman’s steps for profit. In the same vein, he is also trying to get legal help. However, the court has not been able to give any concrete decision in Musk’s previous cases.
