Bitcoin Price At All-Time High The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin has reached an all-time high. With the election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America, the price of Bitcoin has increased by 10 per cent and reached 76 thousand 106 dollars (about 12 million rupees).
Trump’s opinion on crypto seems to be very different from that of the current US President Joe Biden’s administration. It is said that the Biden administration is cracking down on crypto companies. On the other hand, Trump has promised to make America the ‘Bitcoin superpower of the world’.
During the election campaign, Trump hinted that he might remove the chairman of the US regulatory agency, the Securities and Exchange Commission, Gerry Gensler. Gensler is taking legal action against several crypto companies.
Trump has also announced plans to assign billionaire Elon Musk to audit unnecessary government spending.
Musk has long been a supporter of cryptocurrency. Tesla, the company he ran, invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in 2021. However, the price of this digital currency remains very volatile.
