When using this feature, you don’t have to take your phone out of your pocket for any work. All the work done on the phone can be done through a Windows computer. Moreover, this work is supported by both Android and iPhone. In short, it means to use the phone on the computer itself.
Doing so is useful for increasing productivity, especially if you sit at the computer for long periods of time.

– Phone and computer can be synced only in Windows 10 (update after May 2019) and Windows 11.
– The connecting phone and computer must be connected to the same Internet.
– Android version should be 8 or above and iOS should be 15 or above.
– Your computer must have a graphics card (GPU) that supports DirectX 11.

-First of all search for ‘Phone Link’ by clicking the Windows button on your computer.
-Open the app marked in the photo above. After opening this app, you will get an option to select the device. You have to choose between iOS and Android.
– After this comes the login option. Where you have to log in with your Microsoft account.
-After login, you get a QR. Which you have to scan from your mobile phone. After this, the code displayed in the same app on the computer should be placed in the place where the mobile phone is displayed.
– After doing this, now you have to do some work on your smartphone. Especially that work is to give necessary permission. After finishing all the work on the phone, you have to go back to the Windows computer.
– Now you have to give permission to the phone link on your computer as well as on the smartphone. After that, the phone and Windows can be connected.
– You get the information that the phone and Windows are connected in the smartphone notification and Phone Link app.
– You can see the details of your phone in the Phone Link app in Windows.
– On the top of the middle part of the Phone Link app, there are options such as messages, photos, and calls. That’s where you can see the apps on your smartphone. On the left side the notification and on the top left side you see details like phone battery, and network.
Now you can use it to make calls, send messages, run apps, view notifications, and view photos. But in this process, you have to connect the Bluetooth of your computer phone.
