Mark Zuckerberg And Elon Musk’s Private Jet Tracking Account Ban META has banned social media accounts that track private planes of entrepreneurs like Alan Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and others. Almost two years after the X (then Twitter) ban, Meta also banned such accounts.
After the ban of X, one of the accounts tracking private planes, ‘Elan Musk Jet’, was active on Meta’s Instagram and threads. Sweeney, the owner of the said account, has given information about this matter in a statement.
According to Sweeney, Meta did not give a specific reason for banning the account. He complains that there is no ‘appeal’ option to get the account back. Sweeney expressed his displeasure with the company’s actions saying that Meta should be transparent about this matter.
Sweeney used to track Alan Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Taylor Swift, former US President Donald Trump and other planes from that account.
It is not yet clear which post violated Meta’s policy. Meta has banned Sweeney’s Celeb Jet, Jet Tracking and other accounts.
In 2022, Musk said that he sought legal treatment against the private jet tracking account Elan Musk Jet’. Last year, singer Taylor Swift said she would take legal action if she did not remove her plane tracking account. Shortly after that, his accounts that tracked the plane disappeared from Meta.
Despite the ban by META, Sweeney has activated an account called Allanjet on platforms such as Telegram, BlueSky, and Muston to publicize private plane information.
