What Is The Controversy Between Actress Divya Khosla And Karan Johar There is a controversy between Bollywood actress Divya Khosla and producer and director Karan Johar.
Divya said that the story of Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Jigra‘ is similar to her film ‘Saawi’. Along with this, she posted pictures of empty halls on social media and alleged that the box office collection of ‘Jigra’ was manipulated.
Then Karan Johar replied to Divya. “Truth is always seen by the fool who opposes it,” he wrote.
Recently, while talking to Indian media Hindustan Times, Divya said, ‘Today I am raising my voice against injustice. So Mr Karan Johar is using abusive language to silence me. Is it right to call a woman a fool who raises her voice on something wrong? If this is happening to me, how about a new artist? There is no king here and no one can treat me like this.’
Alia has not responded to this controversy. ‘Jigara’ is releasing on 11th October. The Vasan Bala-directed film also stars Vedang Bedi in the lead alongside Alia.
