Google Search Now Also Has A Blue Tick Feature: Making It Easy To Recognize The Entire Website A new verification feature is coming to Google Search. The company is about to introduce such a system to protect users from clicking on fake or fake websites.
Under this, some users have started seeing the blue tick on the URL of the website in Google search in their browser.
“We are always testing different features to make it easier for users to identify a reliable site. Right now, we’re testing a feature in a small group that shows a blue checkmark on the back of a genuine site,” Google public affairs spokeswoman Molly Shaheen told The Verge.
Users have said that they see checkmarks on the websites of companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Epic Games, Apple, Amazon, and HP.
It is said that this new test has been introduced by the company under Brand Indicators for Message Identification. Currently, in Gmail, a blue checkmark appears on the back of the account in the mail that comes from the official website.
After this feature comes in Google search, users can identify which site is official and which is unofficial. It is said that the risk of data theft, loss of money and sensitive information by relying on the wrong website will be reduced. The company has not yet given any information about when this feature will be fully available.
