Microsoft’s New Windows App: Now You Can Run Your Computer From Anywhere A new Windows app has been released to access PC from various devices. According to Microsoft, this app can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS and web browsers.
It is said that through the app, you can securely connect to services like Windows 365, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Remote Desktop.
According to Microsoft, this app has been released after about a year of testing. It has features such as the user can set a custom home screen, multi-monitor support, and USB redirection, through which the user can connect local devices such as webcam, storage device, and printer to their cloud PC and use it.
In particular, this app is said to be targeted for Microsoft’s work and school account users. Just like the Remote Desktop Connection app in Windows 11, it also allows users to easily access office computers from their personal laptops or PCs.
However, Microsoft has not said anything about whether this app will be available for general users right now. Last year, the company announced plans to move its Windows system to the cloud.
This new app can be downloaded by Windows users from Microsoft Store and MacOS, iOS, and iPadOS users from Apple’s App Store. For Android, the app is in public preview.
