Bringing A Powerful Chip: MediaTek Claims To Be 86 Percent Faster Than The iPhone 16 Pro Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturer MediaTek is releasing its new chipset MediaTek Dimension 9400 in October. But before the chip is made public, it has been discussed that the chip will surpass Apple’s latest A18 chip and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor.
According to a digital chat station on the Chinese social network Weibo, the MediaTek Dimension 9400 chipset’s GPU was tested using the GFX Aztec 1440p off-screen Vulcan benchmark. In which the GPU has given the result of 134 fps. Which is 86 per cent more than Apple’s A18 and 41 per cent more than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in the Galaxy S24 series.
However, it was tested for the raw performance of the GPU of the chipset. Due to this, it is natural to see good results in performance. However, since the information about the test environment was not given, it can be doubted whether the same results will be obtained in actual use.
Some time ago, it was reported that the CPU performance of this chipset is 30 per cent higher than the current major chipsets. If these reports are true then the MediaTek Dimension 9400 chipset will be the most powerful ever.
