A video of an Indian citizen beating up a constable of the Nepal Police has gone viral on social media. Since Wednesday, videos of some people abusing the police have been shared on Facebook, X, and other social networks. In the video, four people can be seen holding a policeman.
After the video went viral, many questions have been raised about who the policeman is, why he was abused, who the abusers are, and whether action has been taken against them or not.
We contacted the District Police Office Kanchanpur Information Officer and Police Deputy Inspector Prakash Dangi about this. According to Dangi, the police constable seen in the video is Bishnu Bhul. He is working at the Dokebazar police station.
Since it is Indian land, we have contacted the Indian police,” Dangi said while talking to Tekpana. “One person has been detained. Since the misbehavior happened on Indian soil, they will be punished according to the law there (India).”
So he didn’t say anything. The information came to us after the video went viral. We have called the Indian police and taken the legal process forward,” said Dangi.
But the Indian people didn’t show any action towards their own people, which means they have made any mistake. The Nepal police don’t make a mistake with Indian people over there.
A lot of Indians will be visiting Nepal, but the Nepali police didn’t beat the Indians over there. But this Indian people will be beat by the Nepali police; this might be a mistake on the Indian people side, which the Indian police will further react to immediately over there.
