Fake And Unauthorized Mobiles Written By Nokia In The Nepali Market Teletalk Pvt Ltd has requested that consumers be cautious as fake and unauthorized mobile phones are being sold under the name of the Nokia brand in the Nepali market. Teletalk, which is the official seller of Nokia in Nepal, has requested to be cautious about such activities.
Teletalk has also requested to buy/sell through authorized seller. Similarly, if it is known that fake mobiles have been bought and sold, it has warned that it will take legal action.
Teletalk has stated that such phones are sold in the market without registration as per the rules of Nethe pal Telecommunication Authority. Consumers face various problems while buying unauthorized phones. It is said that especially since such phones lack neecssary technology and security standards, there may be problems such as not getting service, network interruption, data theft e,tc e.
Therefore, when purchasing a mobile phone, consumers should check the IMEI number and ensure that it is registered with the authority, according to Teletalk.
