Electricity Broke Out At Korla Carossing Electricity has been on in the Korla Naka area of Lomanthang in Upper Mustang, which borders Tibet, an autonomous region of northern China, since Thursday. The Nepal Electricity Authority has extended the power line at Korla Naka on the joint initiative of the District Administration Office Mustang and local people’s representatives.

In preparation for setting up an immigration office and a security post at the Korla border crossing, efforts are being made to provide access to electricity transmission lines, mobile towers, and the internet, informed Janakraj Pant, the manager of Mustang.
“We are preparing to set up an immigration and temporary security post at the checkpoint, and for that, we have started the construction of the necessary infrastructure with tireless efforts,” Prajia Pant said, “After a few weeks of efforts, we have been able to turn on the electricity by extending the power transmission line at the Korla checkpoint. Now the work of connecting mobile and internet is also being done.
On the 27th of Kartik in the North Korla border of Mustang, China officially opened the two villages of Upper Mustang, and the number of Upper Mustang has increased in the Korla border.
