From Today The Dharahara Is Open You Can Climb It For Free For A Few Days The houses of Nepal that were destroyed in the devastating earthquake of 2072 have been reconstructed. Dharahara is being opened for the general public after Constitution Day on October 3rd. The construction of the Gharhara, which will be opened on the occasion of the Constitution Day, has not been completed.
Urban Development Ministry spokesperson Vinu Bajracharya informed that only 98 percent of Dharahara‘s structure construction has been completed so far. According to him, according to the government’s decision to open the Dharahara on the occasion of the Constitution Day, the Dharahara has been opened for everyone to climb from Thursday.
He said that the Dharahara can be climbed for free for some time until the government makes another arrangement. He informed me that although there are still some works of coloring and decoration, it will not be a problem. The National Reconstruction Authority was entrusted with the construction of the tower.
After the expiry of the authorization period, the remaining construction work was handed over to the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction under the Ministry of Urban Development. After that, the building department is conducting this project.
On October 14, 2075, GIETC-Raman JV got the contract to rebuild Dharahara. Raman JV, who took the contract to complete the construction within 2 years, has almost completed the construction of the tower only after extending the deadline for the sixth time.
