Nepathya America Series – Crowded In Maryland A concert has been completed in Maryland as part of the Nepathya America series. As the program started at exactly 8 pm as scheduled, Amrit Gurung appeared in blue jeans and bowed to the audience.
With the sound of the drum set, both hands jerked towards the audience. By this time, widespread excitement and commotion had already started among the spectators who had filled the hall. Catching that enthusiasm, he recited the first song – Koshiko Pani Yo Zindagaani. After singing the band’s all-time hit songs ‘Bhedako Oon’ and ‘Chhekyo Chhekyo’, Amrit started a short sparring session with the audience.
As in all places, Amrit requested the future generation to teach their mother tongue as much as possible, and if that is not possible, at least by teaching the Nepali language to connect them with their roots.
Many spectators who came to watch the concert brought national flags along with them, while those present wearing Dhaka caps and Bhadgaon caps were seen everywhere.
The audience who came in this way belonged to various groups. Some came with their friends, some came with their spouses, and some came with their parents and children.
Thus, after the previous six concerts in the series tour of America have been completed magnificently, now Nepathya is heading to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for the seventh and final performance. With the seventh concert, the one-and-a-half-month-long US tour will take a break this time.
