ANFA To Appoint New Football Coach After the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) decided not to extend the contract of Vincenzo Alberto Enes, the process of appointing a new football coach will now begin.
The ANFA working committee meeting on Tuesday and Thursday decided not to extend Enes’ contract.
Also, now a new coach is needed for the Nepali National Men’s Football Team. It is mentioned in the statement released by ANFA that it has been decided to proceed with the appointment process of pro-licensed coaches.
Since Nepal needs a pro-licensed coach to play games like World Cup Qualifiers and Asian Cup Qualifiers, Nepal has to bring in foreign coaches again. But since the international football match that Nepal will play now is in March 2025 i.e. next March, there is little chance of appointing a foreign coach immediately. Similarly, Nepal is not scheduled to play international friendly matches in the FIFA window.
ANFA spokesperson Suresh Shah informed that the process of appointing a pro-licensed coach will be started and before that, the work will be started by appointing a temporary coach from Nepal.
