Indian film business analyst Taran Adarsh mentioned that the film earned 93.85 crores across India from the second Friday to Sunday. According to him, the film earned Rs 307.80 crore in the first week and earned the same amount in the second week.
In its second weekend, it became the highest-grosser in Hindi. The film also beat Sunny Deol’s ‘Gadar 2‘, Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ Prabhas’ ‘Baahubali 2’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’. So far, the highest grosser in the second week was held by ‘Gadar 2’, which earned 904.7 million rupees.
The film directed by Amar Kaushik had to compete with ‘Khel Khel Mai’ and ‘Ved’ on the first day. This film has ruled the box office since day one.
The film is making waves in the international market as well. In 11 days, it has collected a total of 540 crores at the global box office.
