Aamir’s first marriage was with Reena Dutt. They ended their 16-year marriage in 2002. After that, she married film director Kiran Rao.
Talking to Riya Chakraborty on Riya Chakraborty’s talk show ‘Chapter 2’, Aamir refused to give marriage advice. He said, “I have had two failed marriages, so don’t ask me for marriage advice.” Aamir believes that marital success varies from person to person.
Rhea also asked when they would get married again. Aamir’s answer was – ‘Now I am 59 years old, where will I get married again, it seems difficult. I have many relationships in my life now, and I have reconnected. I am very happy when I am with my family, my children, and my siblings, my closest people.
During the interview, Aamir said that he cannot be alone in life. He said, “I don’t like to be alone.” I need a partner. I am not alone, I like friends. I am very close to both my ex-wives Reena and Kiran. We are like one family. Life is unpredictable, so how can we believe?’
Aamir is currently working on his upcoming film ‘Sitare Jamin Par’. Which is directed by RS Prasanna. Apart from Aamir, Genelia D’Souza and Darsheel Safari will also star in the film.
