A National-Level Coding Competition Is Held For School Students There will be a national-level coding competition for children. IT training provider Door Shiksha is Nepal’s training partner for the coding competition with the support of Discovery Education Network UK and EduTech.
Krishna Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Distance Education, informed us that the coding competition will be organized targeting students from classes 2 to 9. According to him, this coding competition will help students increase their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Along with this, students have to submit their projects based on their theme online. The organizer will conduct a physical event to compete among the best projects from those received online. There, you have to work according to the mentor’s guide, and at the end, the competing coders themselves have to prepare a project based on a theme and send it.
According to the organizers, the winner of Nepal will get to compete in coding with Indian students. If you win the competition, you will get the opportunity to be selected for the world-class competition of British Discovery Education.
“Coding gives children an opportunity to explore the world of technology and helps them learn skills that will be useful in future careers. Therefore, the development of such skills should be done from an early age,” said Krishna Pandey, Chief Executive Officer of Distance Education.
He said that under the competition category, there will be a coding competition (block-based coding) for classes 2-5 and a coding competition (Python coding) for classes 6-9.
According to the organizers, students should register online by September 6. Click here to learn more and register online.
