YouTube Bringing The Sleep Timer Feature: What Will Be The Feature The ‘Sleep Timer’ feature is going to come on the video streaming platform YouTube. YouTube recently published a blog and announced the introduction of the sleep timer feature.
According to the company, this feature will be available by September 2. Sleep timer is a feature that allows users to pause video or music at any time they want. First of all, you have to choose how long you want the video to pause. After that, the video will automatically stop after the set time.
Currently, this feature is only available to a limited number of YouTube Premium users. If you are a premium user, you can set the time by going to YouTube’s settings and searching for the sleep timer.
The company has named this feature, which is available for a limited time, a ‘dubbed sleep timer’. It is not yet clear whether this feature will be available for all users globally.
This feature is available in the APK version of YouTube received by Android Authority. According to the media, this feature can be used in mobile apps and desktop versions.
Currently, YouTube only has the option of auto-playing videos or closing the app after a video is over. There is no suitable option on YouTube to stop the video at any time you want.
This feature is available on most music and video streaming platforms. However, the feature of a sleep timer has not been given to all users on YouTube. If this feature is available, it is expected to be more convenient for the users.
