A Month-Long Fair At Swayambhu From Tomorrow Swayambhu Management and Conservation General Committee said that all the preparations including the safety of devotees coming for darshan at world heritage Swayambhu and its surrounding areas, crowd management, cleanliness, painting, street lighting management have been completed. The number of visitors to the fair is expected to increase as the Chaitya and various parts of the ancient heritage site have been repaired and restored.
Ashok Buddhacharya, General Secretary of Mahasamithi said that the temporary shops around the temple have been removed and arrangements have been made not to allow those seeking help.
