X-ray Camera In CMF Phone One CMF, a subsidiary brand of Nothing, which is popular as a transparent phone manufacturing company, has recently launched its first phone ‘CMF Phone One’ in the market. This phone is different in terms of design.
It has the facility to remove the cover of the phone using screws. Other features are generally on par with entry-level phones. In other words, it has almost all the features of cheap phones.
However, a feature that the company has not discussed anywhere has been made public by a social media user. That feature is the X-ray capability of the depth sensor. A person named Madhav Kant posted a video on the social network X and discussed the feature.
“Akis (the co-founder of Nothing) was not wrong,” he wrote, “At first, no one believed him. However, the 2-megapixel camera in the CMF Phone One is not ordinary. We can call it an X-ray camera.”
CMF PHONE 1 has a see-through camera?
Akis wasn’t wrong at all man! They didn’t trust his words at all But that 2MP is not a normal one but it’s seen through a camera or X-ray camera we can say!!
At this price range, this thing is commendable and damn amazing
In the video, Madhav Kant has shown the capabilities of the sensor. When using the camera, the battery inside the remote, and the plastic inside the accessories are clearly visible. In particular, he used a third-party camera app to use the X-ray feature.
It is claimed that although this camera works on some limited items, it cannot capture the scene inside the clothes.
Reposting the video, the co-founder of Nothing, Akis Evangelidis, has confirmed that the phone’s sensor has X-ray capability.
He says that the depth sensor usually works with the main sensor to create a depth-of-field effect when taking photos in portrait mode. He mentioned that since this sensor does not have an infrared light filter, it can pass through some semi-transparent objects. According to him, the camera works well especially to show the objects inside the thin black plastic.
