Nepal Gave Pakistan A Target Of 109 RunsĀ In the second match of the group under the ACC Women’s Asia Cup cricket, Nepal gave a target of 109 runs to Pakistan.
After Pakistan won the toss and elected to field at Dambulla International Stadium in Sri Lanka, Nepal, who batted first, scored 108 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
After a bad start, Nepal’s opener Yakkan Khadka got out in 4 runs. Then Kavita Kunwar added 13 runs and captain Indu Burma was ducked out. Kavita and Indu were dismissed by Sadia Ekbal.
After experienced Rubina Chhetri was also dismissed for 8 runs, the pressure on Nepal was increased. Opening batter Sita Ranamar was dismissed for 26 runs. Both Rubina and Sita were victims of runouts.
After that, Kavita Joshi and Pooja Mahato shared a 34-run partnership for the sixth wicket for Nepal. Pooja hit 3 fours off 32 balls to score 25 runs before being dismissed on the first ball of the last over.
