CAN’s Decision To Place Sandeep In ‘A’ Grade Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) has decided to include spinner Sandeep Lamichhane of the national cricket team in the grading. The meeting of CAN on Thursday decided to keep Lamichhane an ‘A’ grade.
CAN Secretary Paras Khadka informed that it was decided to place him in Grade ‘A’ with effect from July 1. Sandeep was out of grading after being accused of rape. He also played in the World Cup after being acquitted by the High Court.
CAN has fixed a salary of Rs 1 lakh per month for Grade ‘A’ players. Can also congratulate Sandeep for taking 100 wickets in the T20 international tournament.
