Previously, there was an option to share posts made in threads on other platforms. But to see the response to them, I had to go back to the relevant platform. Now the compulsion to keep switching between platforms to see the response to the same post will be removed.
With this, Threads has become Meta’s first fediverse app. According to Meta, Fediverse is a global social network of interconnected servers through which users can communicate across different platforms.
There are various issues with Fedivers, which is still in beta. Like: Currently, users can only view replies from other platforms. But they cannot reply. In addition, it is not certain that when posts are deleted in Fediverse threads, they will also be deleted on other platforms.
