Musk’s Warning To Ban All Apple Products In His Company Elon Musk has warned that if Apple integrates OpenAI at the operating system level, all the products of that company will be banned. Musk gave this warning after saying that the company will integrate OpenAI into its OS at Apple’s Developers Conference (WWDC) held on Monday.
“If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, Apple devices will be banned at my company,” Musk said in a post on X, adding, “This is an unacceptable security breach.”
In the reply to the same post, he said that other people who go to his company will also make a policy not to take phone calls inside the company. “Visitors will also have to check in their Apple devices at the door, where they will be placed in a Faraday cage.”
After that post, Apple has been arguing that it has started selling its user data to OpenAI. “Apple is not smart enough to build its own AI. But, OpenAI is able to ensure that the security and privacy of the users can be protected,” he said sarcastically at Apple, “Apple does not know what happens once the data is in the hands of OpenAI.”
Musk endorsed the post. ChatGPT was launched in November 2022. Then Elon Musk was opposing it. Musk was also the co-founder of OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT. Later he was only providing financial support to it.
However, later the company got financial support from Microsoft and started working on new technologies. Musk argues that the company that was opened for the benefit of humanity is becoming profit-oriented and is going against the benefit of humanity. Lately, Musk has also been working on his own AI startup X AI.
