A Child Died Due to Electrocution While Charging His Phone A child died due to electrocution while charging a mobile phone in Laligurans Municipality, 5 Dagpa, Tehrathum.
 
Nine-year-old Sudeep Limbu died of electrocution after his finger slipped on the pin while charging his phone at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night. According to Chief Inspector Khagendra Ektel of Area Police Office Basantpur, the child died on the way while being taken to District Hospital Terhathum for treatment after being electrocuted.
 
While observing the scene, it appears that the child was electrocuted when his finger touched the pin of the charger while connecting the charger to the multiplug.” Inspector Ektel said while talking to Tekpana, “The body has been handed over to the family after the post-mortem.”
 
Inspector Ektel has also asked children or parents to pay attention while charging the phone.
