Vlogger Ratan Karki’s YouTube Channel Hack Vlogger Ratan Karki’s YouTube channel has been hacked. His channel, which has more than 565,000 subscribers, was hacked on Friday.
After the hack, the channel’s name and username were changed to promote Bitcoin, which is banned in Nepal. The channel was hacked earlier too.
According to Kishore Upadhyay, a cyber security researcher who played a role in bringing Ratan’s channel back, the hacker hacked the channel on Friday night and made it disappear. The real reason for the hack has not yet come out. Upadhyaya says that the work is going on to bring back the channel.
Karki used to keep vlog videos on that channel. He is currently in Japan and has been sharing his content through vlogs.
Lately, YouTube channels, Facebook pages, and TikTok accounts have been targeted by hackers. Especially when clicking unnecessary links, using pirated software and apps, and being tempted to link other people’s accounts, it is seen that more accounts of creators are lost.
