Parag Agrawal sued Elon Musk. Four former Twitter executives, including Parag Agarwal, have filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk over a salary dispute. A lawsuit was filed against Musk on Monday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging that he was not paid according to the contract and was fired without cause.
Musk took full ownership of Twitter in 2022 and made it a private company from a public company. After taking full ownership of the company, Musk fired the then-CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, Legal and Policy Head Vijaya Geddy, and General Consul Sean Edgett. After that, Musk changed the name of Twitter Inc. to X Corporation.
The complaint claims that Musk owes those employees a total of $128 million in back pay. They allege that Musk did not want to pay them a salary and appointed employees from his other companies for fake reasons.
It is mentioned in the complaint that after Twitter was controlled by Musk, the company became bankrupt, employees were fired, rent was not paid to the housewife, and various disputes arose. Similarly, they say that Musk does not pay the employees because he does not care about any law. Similarly, they have said in the complaint that he used to do such things under the guise of money and power for anyone who went against him.
Musk and X have not responded to this issue. In 2022, Musk took full ownership of Twitter by paying $54.20 per share.
