The data leak of 20 thousand users of Ramilo apps that came as an alternative to Tik Tok The Nepali app that has emerged as an alternative to Tik Tok has leaked its data. A hacker named Deadlyweapon 1337 (Deadlyweapon) leaked the data of the fun app on the dark web’s Breach forum on Friday.
The link received by Tekpana contains sensitive data from 20,000 users. In particular, details such as their username, email address, name, user ID, and phone number have been leaked.
Not only that, the details of the social network account links maintained by the user in the fun app have also been leaked. Cyber security expert Sushil Phuyal said that the hacker may have leaked the data using an insecure direct object reference (IDOR).
IDOR is a security vulnerability that, due to improper access management, allows one user in an application to view, use, or compromise another user’s data.
Ramailo Apps will be trying to protect the data service. But the view might be getting shocked on its whole login to go to the link side to do. It is possible that system data will need to be upgraded at some point.
