Tiktok has sent a letter to the government to register in Nepal. With the intention of registering in Nepal, Tiktok has sent an email to the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. After the government imposed a ban, Tiktok sent a formal letter for registration.
Talking to Tekpana, the spokesperson of the ministry, Netra Prasad Subedi, said, “TikTok has sent an email appreciating that the introduction of social media regulatory guidelines is a good thing.” The email has raised questions on two or three points regarding registration.”
Subedi said that the government will not reply as the issue of the ban on Tiktok is pending in court. Discuss listing other platforms
On Karitik 27, the government decided to ban Tiktok because it had a negative impact on social harmony and the social environment. 14 writs have been registered in the Supreme Court against the said decision.
Even though a full hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, it was included in the ‘not to be seen’ list.
But the tiktok isn’t getting back to Nepal. Because a lot of content was not useful to do. But the government supreme court will give a correct reply to the TikTok company to ban it in Nepal.
