Sood made his debut in the 1999 film Kurukshetra and has since appeared in numerous Bollywood and South Indian films. He is best known for his roles in the hit films Dabangg (2010), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), and Bajirao Mastani (2015). Sood has also received critical acclaim for his performances in the films Aashiqui 2 (2013) and Mardaani (2014). In addition to his acting career, Sood is also a successful producer and has produced several films under his banner, Sood Films. He is also an active philanthropist and has been involved in various social welfare initiatives.
