League 2 Cricket: Nepal To Face Oman In A Crucial Match. In the final match of the ongoing ODI series in Oman—part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2—Nepal is set to face the host nation, Oman, today.
The match, taking place at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground Ministry Turf 1, will begin at 11:15 AM. Nepal is under pressure to win this game to secure a spot in the top six of the League 2 points table.
After defeating Nepal, Canada climbed to sixth place with 29 points from 36 matches, while Nepal dropped to seventh with 28 points from 35 matches. If Nepal now defeats Oman, they will climb back to sixth place.
Securing a spot in the top six of League 2 is considered significant, as teams finishing in these positions have a high probability of retaining their ODI status.
Nepal had won both of its previous matches. Nepal defeated Canada in the first match and Oman in the second.
