Chance Of Rain And Snowfall Call For Caution. The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has stated that there is a possibility of rain and snowfall due to the influence of the westerly winds as well as the low-pressure system formed in the Arabian Sea.
The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Meteorology has stated that there is a possibility of light to moderate snowfall and rain in some places in Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali provinces and a few places in the hilly and mountainous areas of the remaining provinces for two days today and tomorrow.
In addition, there is a possibility of heavy snowfall in one or two places in the high, hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki Province. The division has stated that there is a possibility of impact on daily life, mountaineering, as well as the agriculture and tourism sectors in those areas.
