According to the financial report of the second quarter released by the company on Tuesday, the income received from customers has increased by 359.6 million (61 thousand rupees) compared to the same period last year.
Last year, during the three months of October, November, and January, Telecom earned a total of Rs. In the same period of this year, the company has managed to earn 8 billion, 66 crore, 17 lakh, and 16 thousand rupees.
In addition, other income has increased by 130 million to 158 thousand rupees. Thus, overall, the company has earned a total income of 10.66 billion, five lakh, and 87 thousand rupees in the three months of the review period. Which is 488.2 million, four thousand rupees less than the same period last year.
Even if we talk about financial transactions for up to six months at the beginning of the current financial year, both gross income and net profit seem to have decreased. Compared to the first six months of last year, during the same period of this year, the company’s total income has decreased by 791.7 million 57 thousand rupees to 21 billion 30 million 93 million 80 thousand rupees.
Likewise, the net profit for the first six months has also decreased. The company issued a press release and informed the public about the reason for the decrease in gross income and net profit. According to the company, increasing use of OTT services, delays in maintenance due to adverse weather conditions, the obligation to extend services even to remote and difficult locations, declining service prices and changes in bank interest rates have negatively affected the company’s financial performance.
