President Poudel Held A Spring Hearing. Ram Chandra Poudel has performed Basanta Shrawan.
Poudel performed Basanta Shrawan at a special function organised at Nasal Chowk in Hanuman Dhoka Durbar on Friday morning on the occasion of this year’s Shree Panchami (Vasant Panchami).
On the occasion, the chief priest of the Hanumandhoka Care Centre offered Abhishek, Tika, Mala and Flower Prasad to President Poudel.
On that occasion, President Poudel worshipped Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, and a contingent of the Nepali Army offered a salute in his honour.
The ceremony was attended by First Lady Savita Poudel, Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushil Karki, National Assembly Speaker Narayan Dahal, ministers, heads of constitutional bodies, and other dignitaries.
It is customary to worship Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, on the occasion of Basant Panchami. It is believed that listening to Basant Shravan on this occasion will bring happiness, peace, and prosperity.
