Goddess Brahmacharini Is Being Worshipped Today: The Second Day Of Navratri 2025. Today, Ashwin Shukla Dwitiya Tithi, i.e. the second day of Navratri, special worship of Goddess Brahmacharini, one of the nine Durgas, is being performed in the Dashain house or worship room.
On the first day of Navratri, on Monday, a barley grain was placed in the Dashain house or worship room according to Vedic rituals. On the same day, the first goddess of the nine Durgas, Shailputri, was invoked and worshipped ritually at the place where the Ghatasthapana was performed.
On the second day, today, Goddess Brahmacharini is being worshipped and ritualistically worshipped at the place of worship.
During the nine days of Navratri, Durga Saptashati (Chandi), Shrimaddevi Bhagavatam and other Goddess Stotras are recited at the place where the Ghatasthapana is installed. It has been a religious belief that worshipping the Goddess during Navratri will bring power, wealth and knowledge.
During Navratri, devotees throng Shaktipeeths across the country to worship and have darshan. A special rush of devotees has started at Shaktipeeths across the country since Monday. Today too, there is a rush of worshippers at various Shaktipeeths.
